Our standard

PRYM Builders strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the technical standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508. We believe this website substantially conforms to that standard, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, reviewing the site at least annually and whenever we make significant changes. No website is ever perfectly accessible, and newly added or third-party content may temporarily fall short; where it does, we work to fix it promptly.

What we've done

• Text and interface colors meet or exceed the WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast ratio for readability.
• Every image carries descriptive alternative text; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
• The entire site — navigation, the project gallery, and the enquiry form — is operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator throughout.
• The image viewer is announced as a dialog, moves focus into and out of itself correctly, traps focus while open, and closes with the Escape key.
• A "Skip to content" link and proper page landmarks (header, main, navigation, footer) let assistive-technology users move quickly.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are announced, and errors are described in text — not by color alone — and read aloud when they appear.
• Motion respects the operating-system "reduce motion" setting.
• Content structure uses correct headings and semantic HTML.

Ongoing review

Automated and manual checks are part of how we ship changes, and we periodically test with screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA). No website is ever perfectly accessible, and some third-party or newly added content may lag behind our standard — if you encounter a barrier, we want to hear about it and will work to fix it promptly.
